An Urgent Alert Amid Conflict
In October 2024, against the backdrop of rising violence linked to the use of explosive weapons in Ukraine, Gaza, and Syria, Handicap International Luxembourg sounded the alarm. The organization sought to remind the international community of the urgent need to protect civilians caught in these conflicts. The #StopBombing campaign, entrusted to our agency, aimed to raise awareness among the public and encourage citizens to sign a petition, urging the Government to uphold its commitments to civilian protection.
A Striking Message for a Major Humanitarian Issue
By reworking the famous slogan "Women and children first!", the agency wanted to highlight a harsh reality of armed conflicts: it is often civilians, particularly women and children, who bear the brunt of the violence. The campaign aimed to denounce this tragedy, emphasizing the vulnerability of innocent people caught in the crossfire.

A Powerful Image for an Essential Cause
The poignant image of a young girl running to escape an explosion symbolizes the horror faced by millions of people in war zones. Through a series of impactful visuals, widely disseminated via social media, Press, and OOH, the campaign was able to reach a broad audience. Its impact extended beyond Luxembourg’s borders, with the Belgian branch of the NGO picking it up, resulting in distribution in Belgium and further amplifying the call to action.
